Abu Dhabi URGENT VISA
Posted: Wed December 5, 2007 11:39 AM UTC
I am attending a conference in Abu Dhabi next week. Etihad say they have applied for the visa but can not say when it will be issued (they were given 1 month notice). Yesterday they mentioned it has been applied for as an urgent matter.

We are travelling in 2 days time. Is it ok to travel without a reference number for the visa application assuming it will be on the system at abu dhabi airport.

The conference organisers have also applied so there will be 2 applications.

The visa is for my wife who holds a pakistani passport with entry clearance for UK, she has been living with me for over a year in the UK.

I hold a british passport so will get a visa on arrival.

We will be staying in Abu Dhabi for 104 hours.....transit is valid for 96 hours, is this flexible since we have ongoing flight confirmation.

Hi Dr. Kashif,

Ur wife wont be allowed to travel from ur home country without a visa copy. Etihad can get an urgent visa which is not a problem but they will have to submit the origenal visa @ the Airport, so that you can collect when u enter the country. Once the passport no is entered in the system for visa then another person cannot apply for the visa on same no of passport.

Thanks

Hamed
