| Bolinao | any tips on bolinao trip? Posted: Wed December 5, 2007 03:44 AM UTC
My friends and are planning to stay at puerto del sol. i heard that they don't have that great of a beach. if this is true, can you suggest an alternative resort of similar rates but with better beachfronts?
our goal i guess is to have fun with convenience... |

We took a road trip to Puerto del Sol last Aug and we saw that most of the beaches there were pretty much the same-- rocky and grassy bottoms and unswimmable at low tide. We didn't get to Patar Beach though and I heard it's the best beach in Bolinao for swimmming but it doesn't have the conveniences that you are looking for. Among the resorts in Bolinao, I would second Aleli in saying that Puerto del Sol is the best. The resort is immaculately maintained and the beach areas are kept clean. You can still swim on high tide. There are not much rocks and sea weeds near the shore. During low tide, you can swim in the pool or soak in the giant jacuzzi or explore the nearby caves and other attractions.
You may check out my Bolinao page for a glimpse of our trip there.
