Hi,
I'm extremely fortunate in that I have the opportunity to visit Perth for some two weeks. I'm very excited about the prospect of seeing a new country... also, beer, and civilization. When I visited Prague (Few years back) folks would rent out a room or their entire apartment to you for a few days or weeks. Is there anything similar in Perth? I haven't had much luck finding such on the Internet. I'm arriving on the 6th or 7th .... and staying till the 20thish..... Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance, :) Justin |

Go to perth.gumtree.com.au and www.share-accommodation.net they usually have all the short term rentals, but for the price of rentals in perth at the moment you may as well just rent out a self contained hotel/apartment room.
All the hostels have signs up on their notice boards with accomodation as well.

I'm currently sitting in Kuwait... about halfway on my long and slightly windy way to Australia. There's a lot of Australian troops here actually. I was asking some this morning if any were from Perth. They were all friendly but replied with "No, we're East SIIIDE!" Well, alright, they didn't say that exactly in those words per say, but that was the jist of it ;)
