Hello,
I'm planning to visit Seoul during January. I've heard Seoul is pretty cold these times but I wanted to know if it'll limit me from doing certain activities. Obviously, I'm not planning on jumping into ocean. But I wanted to go sight-seeing, visit the popular tourist destinations, go to some clubs/bars. Being that it's so cold, will I have a problem? Thanks. |

First of all, if we knew where you were from and what you were used to, we would have some idea of what "cold" is to you. I lived there for 8 years and could BBQ on my balcony when it was zero; I'm used to it. The cold doesn't stop the Koreans so why should it stop you? Yes it gets cold, but cold is relative. People continue on with their daily lives and party and go to clubs no matter how cold it gets. If you are not used to the cold and don't have the proper clothing you will have a problem.
