Busselton Moving
Posted: Mon December 3, 2007 11:25 AM UTC
My friend and i are looking to moving to Busselton. I'm from the Gold Coast, and she's from Albany, too very different places. Would i die of boredom in Busselton while she enjoys the wide open spaces??

Depends what you like doing.....

If you're into night clubbing & casinos, yes you will be bored.

If you're into swimming, surfing and many other outdoor sports, camping, wineries and the like you will have a ball.

Why not compromise and move a bit closer to Perth, say Mandurah or Rockingham. That way you are not too far from the action but also near wide open spaces. ....Hi Col :o)

Busselton is the biggest town of the south west....there is plenty to do, but if your used to city living then you may get a bit bored....Dunsborough is definitely where all the young people hang out and Busselton is only 20mins from there!!

If you like surfing then the south west is the place to be there are so many great surf spots and beaches.

Sometimes you get "climatised" you may even grow to like it....why not just give it a try and see how you go!!!

I grew up in Busso and and even though I have lived in different places I seem to keep coming home because I love it.
My husband has travelled the world as a diving instructor and thinks that Busselton is Awesome.
We have had a really bad run with "Nightlife" recently but things seem to have picked up. We have heaps of bands and concets lines up for the next few months.
