There seem to be lots of moscitoes so how about Malaria and "Yellow Fever" at the falls ?
In general moscitos really love my kind of blood ;-(((

No yellow fever or malaria to be concerned about. If you plan on going to Paraguay or deeper into Brasil then you might be more concerned with dunge fever, but there is not much you can do to prevent that except to avoid the mosquitoes.

they might still ask you for a vaccination for yellow fever though as it has been spreading in recent years and they are now trying to vaccinate everyone against it even in areas that are not affected.

We were in Ciudad Alberto Stroessner/Ciudad del Este in 1992 without vaccination - no problem. I suspect, you mean yellow fever, not "Yellow Fever". LOL There is no vaccine possible against "Yellow Fever" :-)

For beginners: on the West Coast we call "Yellow Fever" if someone travels to, say, Tokyo as a single male but has to buy two tickets coming back. An illness impossible to cure.

A side-effect of this illness is also chronic degradation of math skills: 1+1 = 3 (or more).
