Has anyone travel on land by any mode of transport from Kuching in Sarawak, Malaysia to Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia?
1. What is the condition of the road system and whether there is any important information that i need to know such as rule passing through immigration check point especially cross country with Brunei and The Sabah state. |

Hi Roger!
Thanks for the info. I am still holding a Malaysian Passport so it shouldnt any issue. Do you anybody have done this route before? I am not sure I'll be able to finish it by two weeks especially riding on a bicycle.

going thru Brunei, suggest you stick to the old roads and avoid the highways as drivers are not used to cyclists, and don't give due considerations...
you may want to take the ferry from serasa to labuan or lawas and shortcut limbang and temburong. it can be very lonely cycling thru empty stretches.. have a safe journey.
