Will stay in Puerto Princesa for one week in February 2008. Would you suggest a trip to El Nido because one week is too long to stay in Puerto Princesa? What sort of transport is more convenient between these two places just in case. How many days each should be spent?

Yes, one week is too long for Puerto Princesa. 4 days 3 nights would be ideal, 4 nights tops. By then you would have seen all that puerto has to offer.
