Hello

Saturday 8th December I am arriving by train to Pampilhosa from Irun. I want to take a bus to Luso-Buçaco to visit the forest, the battlefield of Busaco and visit the museum.

The train service is not very good and I am unable to find bus timetables for the area. The link I tried does not work?

Can any locals please tell me times or would it be better to take the bus from Coimbra.

Hi!

If you are a bit lucky you can travel by train from Pampilhosa to Luso-Buçaco. It takes only around 10 minutes but each day there are only a few connections on weekdays and only 2 connections on weekends. The ticket costs 1€ (a little bit expensive but you don't have many choices).
The train departs from Pampilhosa at 12h18 or 18h53 to arrive in Luso-Buçaco at 12h27 or 19h04.

I did a quick search over the tourist sites and couldn't find any info on how to get around there by public transports.

I have sent some e mails but not had a reply.

I would love to take the train but like I said it is not a good service and does not fit in with my timings.

I got a reply from the tourist office, no buses due to holiday but a taxi is only €6.
