In Chengdu for the next week with work, however ,been dumped with no local guide apart from my lonely planet - which does not go into too much detail
would love some good information on night life (lively bars, rather than clubs) and reliable tours (something to fill the weekend) Any help much appreciated Rob |

To find Little Bar, you should do a screen shot or copy-paste and print the name, address in Chinese (for taxi driver) and phone:
http://www.synotrip.com/chengdu/bars-&-nightli Chengdu is known for its al fresco teahouses rather than its bars but every city has at least one decent place to have a drink and not hear kareoke or "Hotel California".
