Ko Chang Travel Forum

i just need some advice about koh chang, what to do, where to stay ? i know this is a touristic island but i am ok, i will find my own way...

iT IS NOT TOURISTIC AT ALL!!! We are just banck from Koh Chang, last monday. I have been for 14 times now in Thailand, different places <koh samui, koh panang, koh tao, pattaya, chan mai, phi phi islands, enz> We staid on white sand beach resort. Beautifull beach, bungalow on the beach, beautifull white sand and clear water, and the sunset is amazing every night! Maybe 10 tourist on the beach all day, before your bungelow you have your own private beach it was paradise!! We went swimming with elephents, did a lot of snorkling, visit islands in the surroundings <kow wai, koh kam, koh rung and more> And went swimming with dolphins, amazing!! And visit the waterfalls wich are great! I am sad that I can"t stay there forever!! Enjoy your trip!

Too much things to say about Koh Chang...

For me the best place :
Kai Bae to stay, more beautifull beach, for exemple 'Kai Bae beach grand villa', bungallows on the beach..
Or Ao bailan, more authentic, 'the Mangrove' is the more beautifull resort of Koh Chang...on the jungle near the beach and the owner is a crazy thai woman, so nice.

what to do :
Diving and eating with the people of O2 restaurant and scuba dream in Kai Bae, they are neighbour...
The 'Tree top Adventure Park' for sure, so wild, so beautifull and so fun...i never did something like that before...play in the tree 20 m up with a perfect sea view..
In tree top adventure park, they know some fisherman who have boat to go snorkling peacefull, not 50 people in a big boat...

Make party in tree house, definitly the best party of koh chang...

and so much more , just ask me...

from your description, ko chang sounds just great. do you have the name of the resort you stayed in? it sounds just like the place i am after... btw, i am leaving in a few days and havent made any specific plans yet.
