Córdoba need to buy ticket for Cathedral?

Hi
On 7th of Dec.we will visit Cordoba on the way to Granada.As we will be with a tour we won't have much time for ourselves but I want to see the inside of Cordoba Mosque.Do I have to get ticket before my visit?If yes, is it possible on internet?Thanks.

If you go between 9 and 10 in the morning, there are no tour groups,so there are no huge multilingual crowds, I've been told that by a reliable person. I think it is also free during that time but I won't swear on that.

I just read the above. Obviously too late but I thought I should just mention that on a Sunday morning it is not possible to visit the Mezquita because the Cathedral will hold the services. I think the Mezquita part of this wonderful structure is open to the public in the afternoon.
