Is there a bus service that I catch that will take me to Newark Airport from Philly? I know there is Amtrak, but I am looking for a cheaper deal. Thanks.

I'm not sure there is a direct bus--NJ transit buses do go to Philadelphia, but as far as I know, there is no single bus that goes from EWR all the way to Philly. You will have to change, probably twice (at Newark bus station and then again at Lakewood, I think).

You can take a combination of SEPTA and NJ transit trains to get between the two cities if you don't want to pay as much as you would for Amtrak. This takes a bit longer, obviously, but it's not complicated. Alternately, you can get a van service from Philly to EWR (do a Google search for airport limos and Philadelphia).

By train.
Take SEPTA from downtown Philadelphia to Trenton. www.septa.org
Take NJ Transit from Trenton to Newark Airport. www.njtransit.com
At the Newark Airport train station, you will take monorail to the terminals.

By bus.
Take Greyhound from downtown Philadelphia to Newark Penn Station.
Take NJ Transit #62 bus from Newark Penn Station to Newark Airport.

Take Amtrak***The Bus service would be a Nightmare*****

Great, thanks for all the info. Amtrack seems to be worth the $47, I can't be bothered with all the transfers and connections. Hopefully, I won't need it if I can get a ride.

The Amtrak trains and the NJ Transit trains both stop at the same Newark Airport station. You still have to get off and take the monorails to the terminal buildings. The only thing you avoid with Amtrak is the change at Trenton which isn't a big deal because you just walk across the platform to the other train. You buy the tickets in advance in Philadelphia for both SEPTA and NJ Transit.

Anyway, if you don't mind paying 2x for Amtrak, more power to you.
