| Montreal | Where in Montreal is this? Posted: Thu November 22, 2007 11:56 PM UTC
Hi there.
A buddy of mine took a photo in Montreal - and told me I gotta check it out when I visit Montreal next year. It's a writing on a wall somewhere that says: Entrez, Jouez / Enter, Play Looks like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/blast7/499486292/ Do you know where this is? |

I only found a picture with a part of a word above the text, but it is hard to read:

The only clue I got was somewhere in the vieux-port area of Montreal.
You really need some help from the local Montreal members. PJ

Why don't you ask your friend, since he took the picture? I don't recognize it, but I suspect it's outside some internet game place.

THIS IS THE ANSWER:
The picture is of a wall next to the SILOPHONE in the Old Port. It is an outdoor "display" (made mostly out of concrete) that has a public microphone hooked up to speakers in an echo-chamber (made out of a de-commissioned grain silo) that is about 100-150 meters away... as you talk or make sounds into the microphone, you can hear the effect of the natural echo... pretty fun, sometimes creepy. But to be clear its NOT a club or anything like that :) PS. I think you can check out www.oldmontreal.com for more news/info on Old Montreal ...
