Hi from izmir;
In Izmir you can find lots of turkish traditional foods. But i offer you to eat KEBAP and DÖNER. 1-You can eat Kebap: http://www.ramazanusta.com/ Here you can find traditional foods from ANTEP. Kebap,soup and Ayran. The Restaurant is in Bornova. It cost from KONAK-ALSANCAK(middel of the town) about 30-40$ by taxi. Also you can travel by bus or metro. They cost about 2$. 2-Also there is a link for a rest. http://www.kircicegi.com.tr/ You can eat döner and other types of kebaps. This Restaurant have many branches. You can check from the website. But it is almost everywhere. 3-For Turkish Doner: http://www.altinkapi.com/ It is in ALSANCAK. And the best doner in İzmir. 4-Tradition soups also in ALSANCAK called: "Ismet Usta" All the taxi drivers know this placeses. 5-Also i suggest you for breakfast to try "BOYOZ" it is the name of the food that is special for Izmir only in Turkey. You can find it in bakery shops and on street sellers. Have a good holiday in Izmir :)
