hi guys,
i need little help from you, i will be flying from iloilo to singapore via cebu,
and im having transit for about 9 hrs and i need hotel near at the hotel for a short while can u pls let me know if there are few hotels nearby or if there is a hotel at the airport that would be better. just a cheap and clean decent hotel.

and one more where can i buy cebu souvener's item and a near by shoping centers.

The Fuente Pension would seem an odd suggestion as it is no where near the airport and in peak traffic, could take up to 2 hours for you to travel between the two.

My suggestion is that you not bother with a hotel and just tour around in a taxi for 6 or 7 hours. Depending on your negotiation skills, this should cost between P1,000 to about P2,000.

If you are into guitars, you can see them made and buy them dirt cheap on Mactan Island. If you visit the Lapu Lapu shrine on Mactan island, you will be able to buy plenty of souvenirs made from shells at very low cost.

I suggested Fuentepension because it's cheap and clean. Touring Cebu by taxi for 7 or more hours is, IMHO, not much of a suggestion (just as one travel professional to another). regards, Sybille
