Hi,
Anyone have any experience of travelling by road &/or train from Berlin to Altai? Planning a month +/- solo trekking in the mountains there next June/July....any info. greatly appreciated, thanks |

Train is usually prefered. You can buy the famous Russian CITY-STAR ticket in Slovakia, currently 100 Euro round-trip regadless of the distance. It is valid for 2 month, so you will be OK
