Is there more than one bus company (Estrella de Oro) to get between the two cities?

Estrella Blanca might offer service, but Estrella de Oro provides the principal service between the two cities. Try: www.estrellablanca.com.mx, and check the schedule information. Also, the www.larpman.com website is an excellent resource, for transportation and other information about Mexico.

There are a ton of bus companies that transport you between cities. Any major bus station will prove that. I used the Autobuses Norte station to travel to Teotihuacan (the pyramids) for only $2.80 each way. There are other bus stations around the city though. I heard the other popular one is TAPO near the airport.
