Curaçao Driving my Trinidad car in Curacao

I am due to retire in Curacao in late January 2008 and I would like to know if I should have the packers include my Renault Car. In Trinidad we drive on the left hand side of the road therefore my steering wheel is on the right side of the car. Unlike Curacao where they drive on the right side of the road and their steering wheels are on the left side of the car.

Can I legally license and paint a sticker "RIGHT HAND DRIVE" and use my car in Curacao?

I'm no expert, but I dont see why this is not possible. Many of the Caribbean Islands who were English/Dutch drive on the left. But due to proximity of the USA, many of the cars on the road are American (or at least built for the American market). Therefore they have both right and left hand drives.

I've never known any country in N America or Europe who will not allow registration of a car due to driver's side.

About the legal issue I can not give you an answer. But there a couple of cars wiht the steering wheel on the right side on curacao. I see them around frequently and I have never heard of any problem wiht this. So I think it is ok
