I will be in Panama in December 2007 . What is happening in Las Tablas on New Years Eve ? Any other ideas how to celebrate New Years Eve in Panama ?

Hi!
Panama City is good to celebrate in the streets with the locals, or in a Casino for something fancier... If you prefer the beach environment you shoul try Bocas del Toro for crazy partying We are having a party as well in Las Lajas, but this will be very basic, just some food and music and a midnight splash in the ocean among old and new friends...so if you like to celebrate it with champagne & caviar it's not the right place! ;-D Unfortunately we don't know the Las Tablas area well but I'm sure that in a surf area such as Santa Catalina or Chitré, you can find all the partying you want... Well, I hope you'll have an outstanding New Year's Eve celebration in Panama, wherever you'll be!!! Que te vaya bien! Elisa

I'm going to be in Panama for this New Years also. Have you booked anything yet? I wanted to try Bocas for New Years but I'm having a hard time finding hotels? Any advice? Thanks. xoxo
