Has anyone travelled on this ship (the Ushuaia)? How would you rate it? Was their boot supply adequate? What else can you tell us? Our trip starts on the 8th Dec. 07.

I took the Gregory Mikeev ship thru the Victory Cruises (they have a website).It was a 36 hour trip from Ushuaia to King George Island in the Shetlands off the Antartica penisula. Awesome trip on this converted Russian freighter, you have already gone by now hope you didn't take the GAP cruiser that sank on this same route we took ion Nov. 23 2006.

I don't have any information but am considering the same ship for a trip in Jan-Feb 09. What was your experience on the Ushuaia? Did you go with Fathom? thanks, Kate
