hey me and my friend are thinking of going out to lagos to work over the summer! we want a REALLY cheap 2 bedroom apartment any ideas?? also do you know if we should try to get a job before we go or will we be ok to find one when we get ther?wer goin from the 9th July to 11th August. thanks in advance for the help!!:)

Think again - Lagos is very busy at that time of the year, apartments will be hard to find and so will jobs.

Not sure of any apartments, but if you want somewhere to stay for a few nights while you look around, I can recommend Dina's Guesthouse in Lagos. Its walking distance from the Lagos Bus Station, close to the shopping streets, 3 minutes walk to the beach, and near some of the drinking bars. Dina is a sweetie and her guesthouse is very homely and very reasonably priced. She has free internet and there is a communal kitchen also.
Anyway Im sure you will love Lagos - we were there in December 2008 and we LOVED it - the Algarves are spectacular and we got a boat ride through the caves and along the coastline for only 8 euros each !! Take Care and Good Luck.
