Zagreb is pretty quiet on Sundays, most stuff is closed.
From Train Station take Tram 6 to city center. But the place you are staying at is outside the city center. Here: From the Zagreb railway station: by local bus no. 234 Kajzerica – Laniąte at the local bus terminal (on the other side of subway/pothodnik) and get off at the last stop or by tram no 4 towards Savski most and get off at the last stop and then take the local bus no 110 and get off at the third stop. A good place to eat off of the main square past Hotel Dubvornik is Restaurant Boban Hope this helps

As far as I know, this is not a hotel but a hostel - formerly it was reserved exclusively for large groups of school kids. You can expect a clean bed, but not lot of charm! It is located in Novi Zagreb - some 20-30 minutes tram ride from the city centre.
To reach it from the main train station, there are several possibilities: - when you leave the train station, go to the underground shopping centre (Importanne) and walk through the long passage. At the end of the passage is the bus terminal. Bus #234 goes in your direction (Laniste). It is not very frequent on Sundays (www.zet.hr/zetvijest/avr/gl_kolodvor/234_300804.htm - Sunday is Nedjelja). - alternatively, take the tram #4 from the train station, direction Savski most. Go till its last stop and wait for bus #110 (direction Botinec). - you can also take tram #4 and then change to tram #7 or 14 till the stop called "Jadranska avenija". This option requires ca. 10-minutes walk. Here is a link to the tram network map: www.zet.hr/mreza_dan.html A taxi on Sunday (additional fees!) will cost between 100 and 150 kn (13-20 Eur). Btw. did you check other hostels in Zagreb? There are some new, centrally located hostels. Or try Ravnice hostel - according to many the best hostel in town. The only one you should avoid is the hostel closest to the train station - in Petrinjska street - this is really a bad option! Sunday is a shopping day for most people of Zagreb - we're talking about big shopping malls and not small shops. A large shopping centre recently opened in Novi Zagreb area, where hostel Remetinec is situated. It's called Avenue Mall: www.avenuemall.com.hr

Thank you!
The thing is that on Monday morning I have a meeting in Hotel I. I just need to stay a night somewhere, not too expensive and not that far from that hotel.I'll arrive in Zagreb at 14.00.Any other suggestions? Can I change money at the train station?

In that case Remetinec is quite logical choice.
I think there is an exchange office at the train station, but they charge some fees and I'm not sure if they are open on Sunday. There is also an exchange office in Importanne center (underground shopping center next to the train station). They will have better rates, but I'm also not sure about Sundays..... Why don't you simply use ATMs? That would be the easiest way to get Kunas.
