Getting around on the Island

We are only going to be on the Island for 1 day, what is the best way to get around? Taxi, rental car or Omnibus$ thanks ML

You can try to negotiate and hire a taxi for the day or for a set number of hours.

Depending on the cruise ships in port or not, they may be receptive to this.

Otherwise, I'd rent a car as getting around is relatively simple.
