The easiest is probably to take a train. There are direct fast trains from Warsaw to Rzeszow and the trip takes around 5 hours. The price is about 88 PLN/second class.

We travelled by train between Warsaw and Rzeszow and I have found the trains to be pretty efficient. We were even surprised that the lunch was quite good. We never have high expectations about things like trains...but all in all I have found them pretty comfortable. * We needed help to decipher the schedules as we don't speak or read Polish and the names of the cities seemed confusing. Buy the highest class of ticket available. . Reserved seats.

The train is usually crowded between Warsaw and Krakow. It is better to reserve seats minimum one day before and buy a ticket in a first class, if available. More space and the difference is not thata high compering with a second class - about 30 - 40 PLN.

The following sentence isn't my experience in the summer of 1998 (June) by the local trains. Buy best class possible in Polish trains or your trip would be a nightmare. I went don't by the train from Warsaw to RZESZOW.
