Hi,
I will stay a few nights in Playa del Carmen, and need a hotel where I can quietly sleep. My shortlist includes Hotels Posada Mariposa, Illusion Boutique and Playa del Karma. Which of them is really quiet? (No musics at night, no traffic noise at night) Leo |

Hi I stayed at Posada Mariposa in July and liked it. For the price range the room was tidy, had a huge closet and 2 beds(not super comfy but fine) I think it might be hard to find total silence in Playa del Carmen, and it will always depend on where your room is in the hotel. But ours was on the 3rd floor (tight spiral stairs) and on the back. We almost never saw anyone else or heard noise..except when neighbors were checking out one morning. It is also toward the end of the craziness of 5th avenue, which was great for us..we were a little overwhelmed and were very glad we were not it the middle! The beach is a short 5-10 minute walk away. Let me know if you want to know more!
