We are arriving to Johannesburg at 3pm and fly out the next morning. Want to do something Friday night.

We are staying at the Michelangelo in Sandton. I was thinking of just heading to Montecasino or Gold Reef. How would we get there? Which one is closer, which one is better? How much would a taxi cab be to get there?

Or if we decide to stay in Sandton, what is a good restaurant? read about Carnivore...

Defiantly not the "carnivore" you can not find a quality food there
If you are here only for one night and staying in Sandton your best bet is Monte Casino
and If you are a meat lover you can go to Meat Company excellent stakes and ribs. (if you don't eat pork their beef ribs are excellent)
There is a theater in the complex and if you are lucky try to get tickets to the "Lion King" one of the best productions in the world. The bird show in Monte Casino is Uniqe but it is during the day
one show at 11 am ant the other at 15:00
