Hi, planning to go to Shimla in the 2nd week of December. Has anyone experienced snow during this period of the month? Or should I wait till january to see snow. Please advice. Thanks.

Dear Friend,
It will depend, most of the case in dec we get hardly snow in shimla, only last week on Dec from X'mas to New year there is very much chances to have snow. If you want to see good snow, you may try to go in Kashmir or Manali. Love and smile..vivek

When we were in Shimla a few years ago, there was no snow till 25th Dec. But it started snowing around 28th. All depends on weather conditions.
Caution: When the first snow starts falling, you will find a heavy influx of people suddenly arriving in Shimal from northern part and soon all hotels gets fileld up with traffic getting congested. So reserve your hotel in advance.
