We'll be in St. Lucia for a week in early Dec. Can't decide between the two. We don't want an all-inclusive, do want a good beach and nice grounds with caribbean ambience. We've just about ruled out Discovery at Marigot becaise of the beach situation, otherwise it looks great. Bay Gardens looks a bit sterile.
We would also like info on which rooms to book. |

Both hotels are within 2 mins. walking distance from each other. Bay Gardens Beach resort is LOCALLY OWNED and is a rather beautiful hotel. I have spent the day there before and was quite happy with the service too. My parents love the Bay Gardens Resort rooms (the furnishings & bathroom fixtures). Bay Gardens Beach Resort was recently opened in early 2007 so its alot newer than the Royal St.Lucian.
Try to support LOCAL! You will not be disappointed with Bay Gardens Resort.
