| Sevilla | Friend's Wedding in Nervion, Seville - Accomodation help? Posted: Sun November 11, 2007 03:00 PM UTC
Hi,
We have been invited to a good friend's wedding in Seville. He is getting married in an area of Seville called Nervion and we are looking for a good hotel in this area. NH Viapol & NH Central Convenciones are a little bit expensive for us. Our budget is 50 GBP maximum per night and we are staying for two nights. The wedding is in December so we don't have much time. We also want to spend the day after the wedding in the city centre and were wondering how far by bus it is to get there from the Nervion area, the cost of this and then how we can get to the airport from the city centre? We plan to store our luggage somewhere in the city centre, does anyone know of a left luggage service? Many Thanks |

You are not that far from the historic centre, which is really lovely to stay in. You could easily stay there and then get a taxi to the actual wedding.
As for the airport. There is one main bus that runs from the Seville Airport into the city at about 30 minute intervals and cost €2.00 each way, €3.50 return. Seville - Santa Justa Railway Station - Airport Seville's Urban Transport Line links Puerta de Jerez with the airport. You can look up the departure times for buses, either from the centre of Seville or at the airport. Information about intermediate bus stops is also available at www.tussam.es Journey duration: 30 minutes. Telephone: 902 210 317 You can always download the free guide from Ryanair.com

Download Maribel's handy guide for Seville. She has several "budget" accommodation options for the city. She lists places at various levels and has she has pretty much stayed at the ones she lists. You need to check out the establishment's website since the prices she mentions are during Seville's Semana Santa and Spring Fair holiday.
For your budget range you're looking at 2 Star Spanish "Hostals". Hostals (not hostels) are typically small family run establishments with a cross between B&B and small hotels. Whenever I go to Spain, I tend to seek out 2 star hostals if traveling alone. http://maribelsguides.com/#sevilla Let us know which accommodation you end up choosing. patrick

we just got back from seville on monday. top place for a weekend break. we satyed in the alminar hotel. three star and very nice. i think we paid around 85 euros per night.
ps if you haven't booked your flights yet, have you tried clickair.com? they have an afternoon flight from gatwick and we paid £80 return for the pair of us. they really are very good, allocated seats etc and you can print off your boarding card for the return journey, so if you only have hand luggage you just walk straight through to the departure lounge, really stress free. enjoy your trip. seljohn
