Hi all,
I am planing a trip for August 2007 in Italy. I really want to visit Padova...Any good suggestions on what hotel that I should stay? The night life? And of course what would be interesting to visit? Thanks you all, Catars |

Do you mean 2008? Padova is a nice place to visit. it is very famous for the Scrovegni Chapel by Giotto but the Church of St. Anthony (Piazza del Santo), the Orto Botanico, and Prato della Valle are all interesting as well. I was there in June and it was very hot and humid - can't even imagine what August would be like.
Here is a web site that may be useful: http://www.turismopadova.it/index_padova

If it's a short visit take in account that on monday a lot of interesting places are closed.
It may be interesting for you to have a look at the PADOVA CARD, a card that gives you a lot of discounts and offers for transportation and museums. http://www.turismopadova.it/Notizie/notizia6?set_l All the turist office website is interesting, I think you should have a look: http://www.turismopadova.it/index_padova?set_langu Regards, Sergio

Padua is nice to visit but i am not so sure to stay - the veneto is nice, but might consider staying in verona and training over to say vincenza, padua, bologna - they are all on the same line - the scrovegni chapel is something you will want to see - but my experience is verona is the nicer city
