When I asked the excellent guide we had on our Nov/Dec visit to the Seychelles he said that due to climatic changes it was no longer possible to predict. We had a mixture of hot and sunny, very hot and humid - and torrential rain.
Our guide told us that until a few years before Nov/Dec were regarded by northern Europeans as the best months to visit.

Summer ( at Seychelles - winter) June-August has less rains, but sea is rougher. In winter it can be raining two weeks in a row whole days - my collegues went in February-March there for 4 weeks, first two weeks the rain as described above...I guess it means that October to April have good cahnces for such weather.
