Hi, Abu dhabi Friends!
I am excited with flying in Abudhabi after all your help.

I heard about Reem island in Abudhabi, but I can't find much more info other than some properties. Is it a new residential place like palm in Dubai and celeblities will buy the houses there??? I am just curious, because Reem is my roomy's name long time ago... Is Reem island easy to reach? I am thinking of visiting there if it's worthy on the way to Abudhabi!

I believe Al-reem Island is an extension to Abu Dhabi city and yes the properties over there are sold to those who can afford it. Maybe there are tour agencies who take tourists to the island not sure, but for the time being visit the official web site of the Island on the following URL:

It looks like not the place to visit at the moment because of all the construction going on?

Reem Island is not available for tours as its basically a desert island which is now a construction site. Properties are available for sale ( Sorouh.com etc ) now from a multitude of developers but wont be completed for a couple of years still. Once the whole island is finished in 2015 ( maybe )it will be pretty good but for the next few years really a building site.
