Penang Honeymoon and Fiances Birthday
Posted: Wed November 7, 2007 02:57 AM UTC
Hi

I was wondering if you would be able to tell me what might be a few nice things to do on my honeymoon in Penang - we are travelling on the 27 November til 7th December.

On the 5th December will be my fiances birthday. As it will be our first birthday away together and as a married couple i would like to do something special for him.

is there anything that you could suggest? Is there anything that might be nice to do in Penang (and a bit different) while on our honeymoon??

Also i noticed that if you ask a restuarant to organise you a meal, they try and charge you more than what you would pay in a western country...is that normal or are they ripping me off? As they were trying to charge me $300 (aus) for a meal for two for only two courses??

Hi

Give him a treat at spa at Rasa Sayang Hotel, this is the first class spa where you will be given personal escort and service. The package cost about MYR1500 per pax and they have some package which cost around MYR500 per pax also. You can call or check through email, this must be strictly by appointment and if no show they will charge 50% on your credit card, means that you have make appointment by giving you credit card, but the service is excellent.

Regards

Fern

as ftym mentioned, you would not want to miss the spa in Rasa Sayang.

As for food, what type of cuisine are you looking into?
I love to eat....

Anything can be special to anyone.... and also that same thing can bores someone to death

I would suggest to go up Penang Hill to watch the sunset and Georgetown light up, you can have steamboat dinner at the restaurant.

I also enjoy watching the sunset while having a few drinks at the Sunset Cafe along Batu Ferringhi Beach.
