Acapulco city tours from the cruise terminal
Posted: Mon November 5, 2007 08:14 PM UTC
I'm going to be in Acapulco for an afternoon and evening, arriving at noon on a cruise ship. My mother wants to take a city tour that includes the cliff divers. My sister is phobic about not booking it through the cruise line because she doesn't want to overpay. I've heard about someone called Rosie, but I can't find any contact info for her on the internet. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Rosie isn't someone I'd recommend. Too many reports of her pushing people towards favored stores, visits to her family followed by solicitations for money, pushing you to pay for her meals at an expensive restaurant, etc., etc. You can walk to the divers from the cruise ship terminal, or take a taxi from the street (not one of the higher-priced terminal-assigned taxis). Go to the following website for a list of tour guides in Acapulco, from which you can choose: http://tinyurl.com/3yqvdv

I agree with Gomexico... Rosie is not a good person to do business with. She wants to take you to low class restaurants, includes a tour of her house in her tours. Always takes people to stores so she can get a cmomission. Yeah, she is a real low class work of art.
