| El Calafate | Flying from El Calafate to Mendoza Posted: Sun November 4, 2007 06:42 PM UTC
My friend and I are wanting to fly from El Calafate to Mendoza (preferably without going back through Buenos Aires). Does anyone have any information on flights that might go directly between the two cities?
Also, we're looking to stay in El Calafate the 28th-30th. Any recommendations on accomodations that are nice but not overly expensive? Thanks!! |

With both companies LAN Argentina and Aerolineas Argentinas you have to to fly through Buenos Aires. There are no direct flights. Don't know if you intend to have more flights in South America, otherwise check the airpasses of both companies for more affordable prices.
See for more information: www.aerolineas.com.ar www.lan.com Accommodation in El Calafate will be more expensive then in other parts of Argentina. I can highly recommend Hostel America del Sur.
