Hi Everyone,
Can anyone help me with this: I am planning a trip to turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, arriving in Ashgabat and travelling to Uzbekistan by the road. I want to know if anyone has already taken the road from MARY to KHIVA in Uzbekistan with a border crossing arround DASHOGUZ ? how is the road and how is the border checkpoint ? many thanks Orhene |

I hate to suggest this, but if you don't get an answer here, check out the Central Asia 'branch' on LP's thorn tree. They have info on what seems like every border crossing.

there is no raod from Mary to Khiva. there is a road from MAry to Bukhara
