Livorno Travel to Pisa
Posted: Fri November 2, 2007 10:06 AM UTC
I am going on a cruise next year and one of the ports is Livorno. Iwould like to know if there is a train which goes to Pisa from Livorno, how long the journey is, the frequency of the train and how much is the fare?

hi - there is a train from Livorno to Pisa - check out trenitalia for times and prices and duration of journey

there is a bus from the port to the station - or perhaps it might be simpler to just get a taxi

Trains from Livorno Centrale to Pisa Centrale take 16 minutes and leave at least every 30 minutes, you will have to look up timetable for the exact date concerned. As for fares, even if you were continuing on to Florence it would only be €6, so I would guess around €1.50 to Pisa. You might need to factor in a euro or less for a bus to the station in Livorno (unless you are on a really big ship which anchors way out of town and might require a taxi to the station) and again from the station in Pisa to Piazza dei Miracoli, as it's a good 20-minute walk.

hay!It seems that you are going there first time, well you can go there by train as well by bus and for times I am not sure but I thing it hardly takes 20 minutes, and I would like to suggest you to better look at the time table.
