Thessaloniki Train Station to Airport

What is most convenient way to travel between the train station and the airport?

Hi Ves,

You may take a taxi which is more expensive or the bus which is slower but also cheaper. The bus is No 78 or 78N if you travel at night. The bus stop is situated opposite the railway station at Egnatia Street. The ticket costs 0.60 Euros and the scheduled busses depart every 30 min.

Like Dimitris said, the bus is the cheapest.
If you choose a taxi you can find one at the airport or opt for an on line reservation which is 40 Euro from Thessaloniki Airport to the city center.
taxireservations.gr can arrange that for you.

Hi,

There is a bus that could take you to IKEA Bus station really close to the airport and then you could change for a short ride to the airport.

The metro will be done after 2010....
