Ko Chang Travel Forum

Hello, thinking of visiting Koh Chang in February. We love to watch wildlife and wonder what we can expect to see , can you let me know what animals live here please. Also can we snorkell direct from hotel beach or only by organised day trip,
all ideas /tips welcome,

My husband and I will be in Thailand from Feb 8th-March 1, 2008. Sounds like you will be there at the same time we are. I am struggling with plans right now. Any help at all (guide books, tips, etc) will be so greatly appreciated!

Hello, just back from koh chang, it is amazing beautifull!! We staid at white sand beach resort, beautifull bungalows on the beach, clear water and low tourist. The sunset every evening is amazing. Wild monkeys are behind your bungalow, there are snakes but you don"t see them often. Snorkling from the beach is possible but not as beautifull if you go on a trip, we did that by speedboat, visit 8 islands, beautifull snorkling, amazing koral and great islands! Also visit monkey island, fun! I have been to thailand now for 14 times in different places, but this was the best! enjoy your trip!!
