According to Lonely Planet yes, 2 a day, they take 9 hours, and cost from Plovdiv to Thessaloniki is 32 lv, if this gives you any guide for the other way around.

hi,
there are few bus agencies.. MTT - every day from Tessaloniki / train station OSE/ at 7:30 am, arrives at plovdiv / hotel Trimontium/ at 4:40 pm. 1 way ticket is 60 leva/ about 30 euro/, return- 108 lv/54e/. KaratS/Eurolines - every monday and saturday at 12:15 AM from Central Train Station; arrives 8:18 AM at Plovdiv, South Bus Station. same prices. Doris - every day departure from 19 Konturioti street, at 9 AM, arrival - Soth Bus Station at 5:45 PM. 27 euro/ 47 euro. Nice day. A
