What is the quickest & best route from oklahoma city to Yellowstone. I am looking at I-35 north to Salina, Kansas and on I-70 to Denver and north on I-25 to Ft. Collins, take hiway 287 to Laramie, Wy. i-80 west to Rawlings then back on 287 to Yellowstone?

I-80 all the way to US 191 in Rock Springs would be quicker but probably not as interesting. 80 is very boring and 191 doesn't get interesting until you get close to Yellowstone. But it's not like any of those other roads are any fun.

Quickest is not the most interesting. But your route is the quickest. You could also take Hwy 40 west and then some local roads up to Hwy 25 north to Denver. Depending on what you find interesting, the area doesn't get interesting until you leave Fort Collins.
I like the high desert and find the drive intersting, but then my wife says I'm wierd.
