Nagasaki-ken	Information on ferry to/from Shimabara Posted: Tue October 30, 2007 07:17 AM UTC Can anyone tell me what the schedules are like traveling from either Misumi or Kumamoto to Shimabara? I am traveling by train and wonder which is easier - to depart for Shimabara from Kumamoto port or to take the train on to Misumi. Logistically, which is easier and how often do ferries run? Can anyone tell me what the schedules are like traveling from either Misumi or Kumamoto to Shimabara? I am traveling by train and wonder which is easier - to depart for Shimabara from Kumamoto port or to take the train on to Misumi. Logistically, which is easier and how often do ferries run?
