There are several storm surge barriers.
One is at Neeltje Jans: http://www.neeltjejans.nl/en/home It's also a family amusement park with educational aspects. Nearer Rotterdam"Another Storm Surge Barrier (stormvloedkering) is the Maeslant Barrier at Hoek van Holland, near Rotterdam. Entrance is free. Then the Hartel Barrier and Europoort Barrier, also near Rotterdam. You can find all 3 at: www.keringhuis.nl
