Please recommend a Italian restaurant with atmosphere

Hi,
We will be traveling to San Diego for a week next spring and would love to find a small Italian restaurant that has charm and great food. Please, not a institutional type restaurant, but a small neighborhood restaurant is what we are looking for. Any suggestions?

Try Busalacchi's Ristorante at 3683 Fifth Ave. With tax and tip it will cost you $50-$75 per person, but it is worth it.

Go to Little Italy. There's a bunch of them down there. It's on India St just a 10 minute walk from downtown.

Italian Food, My favorite!

My favorite in San Diego is Bucca di Beppo, there are a few of them, one in the Gaslamp Quater and other in Mira mesa. I like the Fun family friendly atmosphere, is not the most elegant but is a great place to go with family and friends.

My fav. dish is Pennne Cardinale, mmmmhhh!
