Bus service from L'Aquila to Aragno appears to be handled by the urban bus service in L'Aquila, even though Aragno is 12 kilometers outside of town.
Look at http://www.ama.laquila.it/uploads/linee/Orario9M9_1.pdf for a PDF (in Italian) of one such route. Note that "Via Castello" (or just "Castello") is a street in the center of L'Aquila. Also note that this is the schedule for weekdays and Saturdays, not Sundays or holidays. Note B indicates that the bus runs only on school days. Note C indicates that the bus runs only on workdays (not Saturdays or days when the line doesn't run...evidently Sundays and holidays). Yes, it appears that the bus to/from Aragno does not run on Sundays and holidays. The bus company's website is http://www.ama.laquila.it/ - but it is all in Italian. The webpage http://www.ama.laquila.it/servizi/acquistare.php shows all the places where you can buy tickets in l'Aquila. As is common in Italy, you can buy these tickets at tobacco stores, bars, and newspaper kiosks. Does that work for you? Bill
