Copenhagen Weather and Fishing
Posted: Fri October 26, 2007 07:04 PM UTC
Hello!
I'd like to go sea fishing to Copenhagen in about 1 month (approx. November 20). What is the weather you normally have in Copenhagen by those days? Rainy? Cold but no rain? I can fish in cold weather, no problem...but rain would ruin my trip. Any advice will be very useful before buying my flight ticket.
Additionally, if you know some good fishing spots to throw lures from the shore please let me know about them.
Thanks!

The weather is probably both wet and cold in November, and even dark.
Please see:
http://www.dmi.dk/dmi/index/danmark/oversigter/klimanormaler.htmat the bottom you will find København and Nordsjælland, that shows
Rain 61 mm, Days with rain 12, Temperature from 5,1 to 7,1 degrees, Night temperature 2,7 degrees, Hours of sunshine 55 for November.

Yes it's already cold and dark up here and with the change of clocks today, it will get even darker tonight :( November is definately one of the wettest months too so I'm not sure what appeals to you about fishing up here then?

I would check online for fishing, you might have some luck locating a fishing shop that can help you better. But if you decide to go there blind and take a chance, I do remember seeing a fairly large fishing/yahting shop in downtown Copenhagen. I think it may have been near the northeast corner(across the street from a large park(Kongens Have)) of Gothersgade and Kronprinsessegade. The shop was on Kronprinsessegade. Sorry I cannot be more definitive with my answer, it was a couple of years ago.
