wife likes walking round shops is this easy to do in nerja

I am sure it's just as easy to walk round the shops in Nerja as anywhere else.

Yes -it is easy.
But most shops in the mainstreet are aimed at tourists - leather goods, perfumes, wines and delicatessen, small boutique-y clothes shops. A few household shops - furniture and household lines + gift type items. Newspapers, magazines, cards and all the other usual tourist type shops. Unless things have changed very much in the last four years don't expect Department Stores.
Sadly all the typical Spanish shops selling fruit and vegetables, bread and cheeses etc. disappeared long ago.

Yes loads, the streets are crammed full, plus lovely Spanish pueblos close by like Frigiliana where you will find local craft shops and cafes, great day out only 10 mins from nerja.

Extremely! and very nice too )plenty of little bars inbetween shops for bored husbands too!)
