| Tahiti | DVDs for Tahiti Posted: Fri October 26, 2007 12:07 PM UTC
I'll be honeymooning in Tahiti in December, and I've noticed that many people have suggested taking DVDs to watch in the evenings. My question is, do you need to take DVDs from a particular region in order to play them on the resort DVD players? I'm in Europe which is region 2, the Pacific is region 4, and I know that a number of the suggestions have come from Americans in region 1. I don't want to travel with a stack of DVDs that won't work. Extra info, we're staying at one little boutique resort (Vahine) and one big chain resort (Thalasso).
Thanks for your help. |

I just came back and I don't think it is a good idea to worry about that... you'd better take a raincoat, umbrella and water shoes along with your snorkel kit. If you're on a honeymoon and worry about DVDs, then you don't go there!!
