My boyfriend and i are staying here next year during the olympics. Has anyone stayed here?? is it an ok place to stay??

I haven't stayed there but I went there for internet and some drinks. It really looks like a nice place! Staff are friendly and they have do it yourself washing facilities for around Y5 (around 80% cheaper than elsewhere). It is very central - next to a subway station, the central station (for intercity/international train trips) and a major bus terminal. You will be able to get cabs easily too. There is a supermarket right around the corner and (if you like) take away places as well.

I think you'll enjoy the area, although be aware that Beijing will be incredibly busy during the Olypmic period. Have fun! I'm very jealous.

I'm also planning to visit Beijing City but not during the Olympic Games period.We intend to be there in September or October 2008. How's the weather during these two months?
I'll be my wife, sister and bro-in-law. We're are all in our fifties and sixties and very healthy. Do you think we can stay at B.C.Central International Youth Hostel? We're not in our youth but more like in our silver years.
we plan to stay in the city for about 7 days. We don't like the idea of a group tour and prefer to travel free and easy.
